The challenge
Eleven artist installations, each with different technical demands, delivered in three weeks in industrial spaces with limited power and no climate control. The industrial character had to stay legible while the work stayed protected.
Scope delivered
- Installation build and rigging across nine warehouses
- Four talk stages with sound and streaming
- Interactive and projection content for six installations
- Documentary crew across all three days
- Visitor flow, hosting and accessibility
How it was executed
Each installation was treated as its own micro-package with its own spec, owner and completion date, then rolled up into one schedule. That is the only way eleven artists with eleven different technical riders arrive at the same opening.
Power was the binding constraint. A load survey in week one produced a distribution plan that every supplier built to, which removed the usual argument about who gets the last available circuit.
The documentary crew was briefed as a delivery scope rather than a nice-to-have, with a named shot list per installation. The foundation archive was complete four days after the event closed.
Service categories on this project
Each one was written as its own work package, priced by competing partners against the same requirement spec.
